Ms. Symington has been in the design field for over 25 years. She began her career in commercial art as a fashion illustrator,
graphic designer, and art director. She was a staff art director in Dallas, Texas with the highly respected and renown catalog
company the "Horchow Collection" when she returned to school to pursue formal education in interior design.Ms.
Symington worked on staff with several design firms in California whose specialties ranged from high-end model home interiors to
high-end residential interiors. She participated in the Chaplin/DeMille Designer Showcase House in Los Angeles whose living room
was highlighted, as well as projects for the City of L.A.'s housing and development while working in California. In 1994 Ms.
Symington passed the Building and Barrier Free Codes section of the NCIDQ and received her certification in California in 1995
with the CCIDC.After an accumulation of years of education and experience, Ms. Symington has opened her own office of T.
Symington & Co. Interiors. She believes that continuing education is a vital part in being able to offer her clients the best
possible service and solutions to their project needs, with care given to safety and protection elements. She has completed her
goal of passing the three tests of the NCIDQ exam taken in the fall of '05, in order to receive her Texas registration for interior
design.
Additionally, Ms. Symington is proud to announce her affiliation as a full professional member of ASID, the American Society of
Interior Designers.
